Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings party-style
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Removing moisture helps the wings become crispy.
  • In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder. Mix well.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss until coated. Add the seasoning mixture and toss again until the wings are evenly covered.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • storage: store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes until warm and crispy again.
  • tip: for even coating, the wings can be mixed with oil and seasoning in a sealed bag and shaken well before cooking.
