Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
Place the salmon fillets on the tray, skin side down. Pat them dry first. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the top, then season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, basil, parsley, and garlic powder until well combined.
Spoon the mixture evenly over each salmon piece. Press it gently so it sticks well to the surface.
Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For a crispier top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end. (Use foil if broiling instead of parchment.)
Serve warm with fresh lemon slices on the side.
