Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats old fashioned
  • 2 scoops protein powder vanilla or chocolate
  • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A small pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl or a jar, add the oats, protein powder, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt. Mix everything well until the texture is smooth and the protein powder is fully blended.
  • Cover the container and place it in the fridge for several hours or overnight. This allows the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  • The next day, remove the oats from the fridge and give them a good stir. If the mixture looks too thick, add a small amount of almond milk and mix again until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Divide the oats into two servings. Add chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, and peanut butter on top if using. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • To keep this recipe suitable for a gluten-free and plant-based diet, use certified gluten-free oats, a plant-based protein powder, and dairy-free chocolate chips.
